Endorsements that make you trust/want a product less.

I was gonna bring this up too. Especially now that they have non-poly guitars, I would totally rock a PRS even though I despise every single one of their endorsers besides Mikael Akerfelt, who is a badass and beyond reproach. His PRS SE (!) signature is really nice for an import. I'd probably just get a black singlecut of some flavor (s2 or whatever) and call it good.

Honestly he's an example of someone who I trust with their endorsements; the Laney and Synergy stuff he used sounds great and isn't stupid expensive.

He gives me EVH vibes.

But PRS has the cringiest, most lame endorsers imaginable. To the point where sometimes I think they are actively hurting their business model.
He's the 1% I was thinking of.🤣

Kind of misread the OP title......

I figured either a company/product that makes you trust them more based on endorsements or less depending on endorsement. On the trust side definitely something like EVH on the trust less side Mason/Vertex. Probably polar opposites in that sense but yeah.

If it's Dave Mustaine sig gear, hard pass.

I wonder how much Dave used this, live and in the studio; did he record "Thirteen" with it? Both were released in 2011:

I still remember when he off-loaded a bunch of gear on Reverb towards the end of his time with Dean, and he was selling some Dean banjo-guitar hybrid. Imagine paying tons of money for a BANJO that a guy from a Metal band played probably 10 times tops.

its akin to his gibson acoustic guitar lol....

George Lynch, ie THE endorsement whore is the Kiss of Death for me as far as endorsements.
I guess he has to make a living like everyone else. Who would have guessed the guitar player from Dokken would have lasted this long.
