the Engls are great cabs; built really well except the tolex is pretty thin and they are HEAVY AS HELL- maybe overbuilt to an extent. sort of stiff and directional sounding but super tight. the Diezel cabs are very nice as well- very similar to a Mesa built wise; def above average. a little more relaxed sounding....
i would go V30 before V60; i really like V30s but not everyone does...

I have gone through a lot of cabs. I have kept 3. The Mesa recto, VHT Fatbottom and the Engl pro XXL. (if you could'nt tell from my sig. The engl and mesa are V30 equiped.
Mesa looser on bottom
Engl tighter on bottom
both cool cabs. Both bring good mids and highs as well. Have not compared to Diezel though. Don't think you could go wrong with the pro series. They are heavy as fuck as stated earlier.

When I tried the V60 cab the speakers reminded me of G12T75's. Big highs, big lows, soft and relaxed midrange. Not an extremely lively speaker.cujo":4s3zlavv said:

Fantastic cabinet. Best cabinet I've played through. I haven't played through a Diezel however.

Another thing to add on the Engl cabs is the straight cab sounds much better than the angled one.
