Can it cut in a band situation? And I mean seriously cut, with a good Marshall pumping out the high mids?

I know the FB 100 is focused in the lower mids. It kills for recording and for down tuned tightness, and seems to sound great by itself, just want to know how it fairs as a heavy rock amp in a two-guitar band.

Can EL34s be used?
Thanks:)

I saw that this morning. Don't have the cash...
I want pretty much every amp in the classifieds right now!

I had the FB100 for a bit, so much better than the 60 version and I dont think you would have any problem at all cutting in a mix against any amp

Yup....the Fireball 100 can cut and its a Mean Bastard.

I like the Fireball 100 a ton better than the old v1 and v2 Powerballs. I have owned both and the FB100 sounded better in my 2 guitar band mix. Of course, IMO.

I played a Powerball II at NAMM and loved it. Have no idea how it would sound in a band though.
