That's why they make vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream. Different tastes. I happen to think the T-75 is quite possibly the worst speaker ever used in an expensive cab. It has no midrange, and obnoxiously harsh highs. But you do you man.

If I would base my opinion about G12T-75's only on that 2011 Marshall cabinet maybe I would have other thoughts but like I said, I like my old eighties cabs very much and they sound very different than that newer cab. Besides, I read a thread about older G12T-75's sounding much more like a higher powered G12M-65's.

Addendum. Just do yourself a favor and never run it through a Marshall cabinet, especially the 1960a with G12 T-75s in it Use a mesa or Engl cab. Marshall cabs kinda suck. Hell, I'd prefer a Harley Benton vintage cab to a Marshall 1960a.

As I indicated, specifically, the 1960a with t-75s. Yeah. They do suck. The Marshall cabs with greenbacks or V30s are not horrible.

I just know how hard they are to correct in a mix. That's why I hate em. Most studio technicians do too. The 80s ones... Might?... Be better. I just haven't seen many around these days. The ones I always run into are the 90s 2000s ones... Which do, in fact, suck. IMHO. But, some people really do like struggling to cute through the mix. Who am I to deny their masochism?
