Engls to me looked best with the brushed aluminium front and logo, like the original Savage 60 and 120.NewWorldMan":1z7ys4ck said:Could be interesting. I'm probably in the minority that's tired of seeing new amps with a "blackout" look. Seems to be a lot jumping on that bandwagon.

The 60 *is* quite lean in the low-end. I pretty much always leave the depth boost engaged and Bass is around 3 'o clock. Only when I'm going for that late 80's Anthrax or Megadeth tone, I'll lower the bass a bit (or boost with a modded DOD 250 or TS9).thrashinbatman":suik498r said:Yeah, I'm also curious about the Savage 60. I had one for a while, and it could have been operator error, but I never got what I wanted out of it. It isn't the fire-breathing monster the 120 is, and it doesn't have the concrete-slab low end the 120 has. Maybe that was on me, but I always felt it didn't have enough low end. And having the gain knobs affect each other was a major pain in the ass if you wanted the rhythm channel to act as a clean channel.
