I'm thinking about grabbing another Savage 120, but this looked interesting too...

I have a lot of ENGL experience but not with this amp..

Anybody tried this amp out? Looks like a Powerball Platform pimped out...

Heck is anybody even into ENGLs anymore these days?

Never tried it but I hear it's a tweaked pbii....will sound pretty different than a savage 120

Not really into the Engl stuff much anymore. I remember getting my Powerball and E530 when i had a small Engl deal about 6 years ago. I swore I'd never play anything else!!! LOL!

I'd still like a Blackmore. Never heard of Victor but just went and checked him out. Damn good shredder.

What splawn is that in your Avatar? Quick Rod? Is it yours ? Still got it ??? Getting ready to buy a splawn too...

I owned this amp for about 6 months, it is as mentioned a tweaked PBii. I bought it on the verb in my search for an engl that wouldn't get buried in a mix and while it was a little more cutting than the PB, it still fought to compete. It sounds better than the PBii but I can't explain how. I gave up on Engl after trying pretty well everything but the blackmore. The Fireball 100w was the only amp I could get to cut into a mix but I didn't care for the tone.
