I have an Epi LP Ultra II, it has the nanomag pickup, I have never used it. I've owned it since 2008-09. Im wanting to upgrade the worn gold hardware on it to all black. Saddle, bridge, tuners, pickups. Im thinking locking grovers? Tonepros B+S? Is a roller bridge worth the extra bucks? I have a set of Fishman Mick Thomsons Seven pickups nib. One of the knobs is setup like a blend between the nano and the pickups. Has anyone wired one of these up, im guessing just eliminate the nano? Also if anyone has some recommendations on different tuners, or saddle/bridge, wiring anything helps.

So I did a complete rewire on a Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III a few years ago. I gutted the nanomag and replaced the plastic jack plate with a brass one that a local trophy shop made and bent for me. For the pickups I used DiMarzio 36th anniversary pads. I gutted the circuit board and used cts pots and a switch craft jack and switch. For the wiring I used a spin a split mod. Basically the tone controls on 10 were full humbucker, and as I dialed down one coil would taper off so It eventually became a single coil. There were a lot of cool sounds in that set up. I kept the back plate but the controls did nothing. I never replaced the tuners or bridge, but I'm sure a tone pros would have been better

Nice man. Definitely like input jack for sure. I'll definitely make myself one also! Thank you for the pics!
