Hey fellas... you may remember I had some questions about this guitar a week or so ago... spoke to enough people with first hand experience and decided to pull the trigger... and all I can say is I am SOOO glad that I did...

I'm sure all of you have heard the stories about BRJ, I myself don't even know everything, all I know is it's nearly impossible to get one of these nowadays, whether it's ordering a new one, or if you are one of the many who have been waiting for a LONG time for an order that was already placed, or the dreaded Black Friday sale that I've read quite a bit about...

This guitar was actually no exception to the horror stories, it was ordered over 2 1/2 years ago... by a gentleman who has a side business of selling left handed guitars... and for whatever reason, it was completed and shipped to him... thankfully I was able to snag it up, i've never seen another left handed BRJ... of course I'm sure they are out there, but I've never seen one...

A bit about the guitar...

Mahogany Body
Maple Neck Through Construction
Ebony Fingerboard
Slant Carved Flame Maple Top
Charcoal Stain with Matching Headstock
25.5" Scale
27 Stainless Steel Frets
Hipshot Hardware (Bridge and Tuners)
One Volume
3-Way Toggle
Dimzarzio Crunch Lab and Liquifire Pickups

The guitar finished flawlessly, not a single blemish or flaw anywhere that I have found so far... and I've never really owned a guitar quite like it... it is LIGHT, but unbelievably resonant... the neck is the smallest neck I have EVER felt... but it's not like an Ibanez neck at all (meaning flat)... if you've ever played a Musicman JP6 neck it is similar to that, but even smaller... just a very small "D" shaped neck, it plays faster than anything I've felt...

Came with certificate of authenticity, extra hardware, and an amazing G&G case, the damned case weighs more than the guitar....

The only issue that I have with the guitar is the bridge pickup... I have never liked the Crunch Lab... it's WAY too smooth... and with this guitar being mahogany bodied it is just a bit mushy and undefined... so that will probably go... I've never like the crunch lab in any guitar I've ever had it in...

Here's some pictures, I'm not a photographer by any means, but the sun was setting so I thought I would get some decent outside shots of her... it doesn't come through in the pictures but the top is the most 3D flamed top I've ever seen, it's hard to describe, almost like there are two thing layers of a top place onto one another... it's incredible...

Thanks fellas... and as far as the use of epic is concerned, the definition exactly describes my feeling towards getting this guitar, regardless of if it's cool or not :)

Beauty top, looks super fast, love the neck-thru.

I have no problem with the world "epic".

Very nice guitar, but is there something wrong with it? Everything seems to be backwards and upside down?.....

Really nice, that is almost my dream guitar. It's just a shame they made the body backwards. ;)
