For acoustic, maybe a parametric EQ like the Empress would work really well.

I have no idea about any EQ pedals other than the KFK 10 band and the newer silver MXR 10 bands. Those are the only ones I have ever owned.

I just heard(read)on this forum that many have said the fish and chips was a good cheap EQ. If I was going to get a cheap EQ,that's what I would get based on opinions I have seen here.

I saw Petrucci used it so I gave it a go
This pedal is AWESOME for taking that god awful piezo quack & turning it into something beautiful. Really amazing pedal

Yeah, I agree, that fish n' chips is a little pricey. There's an open box one for $23 & change. I'm going to keep my eye out for one on sale.

Jeezus... Buy an MXR 10-band, and be done with it. You get what you pay for.
