I am going to try mixing these two up. I should run with the X pattern or 65's up and 75's down, or vice versa?

The 75's are 97db and the 65's are 98db.

Do an X-pattern where you get a mix of ET65 beside G12T75 at the top, and the bottom.

This. That is what an X pattern is. I have the same setup in both of my cabs. Great mixture

I am curious how these 2 speakers mix, let us know....

It's a perfect mix for me. The 75's bring the low end and crispness. The 65's punch the midrange. The mix definitely makes the cab sound huge.

Live, i have them mic a 65.

I went from mixing ET65s with two peavey 1290 to t75's to british leads. The 75 mix is IMHO the best out of these combinations. BL's provide more mids/lead presence, while the 75's are winning for every kind of rhythm work.

Will do. I am picking them up tomorrow. After work I will load them up push some air.

I kinda felt the T75's highend sizzle slashed right through the ET65's when I X-patterned them. Sometimes it's just as much about freq dominance as speaker efficiency.
The ET65's have great mids, but the aren't any match for the T75's treble. The V30's mids are forcefull and up front so they combat that treble easier in an X-pattern formation IMO.
You may like the T75's on the bottom in the end. That way you will feel the lows and hear the treble down below, and get the midrange grind and punch up top.

I think the amp makes a big difference here. Depends on your head. I'm running an old 2203. I find myself having to adjust my mids down quite a bit to compensate for my other guitar player who has a very similar setup to me, with the exception that his cabs have all 75's. For recording, we both used one of my cabs and had both a 75 and a 65 mic'ed. Sounded great.

do you run the 2203 through the et65s? how is that?

Speakers are loaded. Will be firing it up in about 45 minutes.

The cab sounds pretty good! Better than it did with all 75's anyway.

I still like my 2X12 with Scumback M75-LHDC's better but it's good to have options on hand.

I wonder what would sound even better with the ET65's instead of the 75's?

Cool. I used to like options for speakers too. But ended up just tinkering too much and becoming undecided or complacent with combinations that weren't optimal.
Now I just use V30's in all my cabs and V30 variants for slight adjustments. (Mesa V30's, Chinese V30's, WGS Vet30's, WGS Retro 30's)

I hear that. I have ripped through many speakers but seem to go back to some type of Greenback variant or another.
