Eventide Eclipse & Lexicon PCM80... the best

Have thought a number of times about moving from some rack gear to high powered pedals.

But these older rack units still sound absolutely amazing to me.

This is goofing around with a Whammy pedal octave with some eclipse delays and lexicon reverbs mixed in.

 
I had an 81; killer unit. I also have a pair of Roland SD3000s, I actually enjoy the color they add a little more than the Lex. But I agree, once you go pro rack, no pedal will do after that.

Slowly piecing together my rack

Currently have an SPX90II, alesis quadraverb v2.03, lexicon pcm81, and a damage control timeline. I still need a boss NS-2, eventide micropitch pedal and an analog stereo chorus. The rest of the stuff I need is all to make it work over midi - GCX, conditioner/regulator, etc.

I got a Type 0 negative vibe from the first part of that. I view that as a good thing :devilish:
