I'm need a the best pitch and reverbs in a single unit that's available for around a grand or so. I have the g force already and want something better. I use Strymon pedals for my chorus, flange, and, delays but am interested in how the eclipse holds up, and (being an older unit) if it were to break down the line ,would it still be serviceable? Tried the H9 and didn't like the harmonizing. Thanks.

Thanks dude. Does the eclipse sound better. I think the Orville allows scenes, no?

eventide has the best pitch shifting around and great reverb
lexicon 80/81 has amazing reverb and great pitch shifting and normally a lot less than eclipse
fractal has great pitch and verb as well and quicker preset switching

you can avoid the preset lag with eclipse and pcm but takes time to program real time control/to map parameters to foot control

I have or tired all the unit's you are talking about. In less you are thinking of going the eventide h7600/h8000 route. Go with the Axe-fx 2 for guitar.

The eclipse is very limiting were you can only use 2 Algorithms in a presets plus the conversion is a bit dark. And there's lag.

Axe-fx you can make a whole effects rack in one preset plus it's easy to program and having a tuner is nice. Plus you can have a Vol block in your preset to use as a clean boost.

I wish axe fx made a stand alone rack unit without all the amp sims and such.

Seems like I'd paying for the footboard section and not using it.? I'm gonna wait for the h10 or something else more suited to me. Gonna go with either the blue or big sky for verb. Thanks.

I can program a eclipse or pcm to have both pitch and reverb and delays in the same patch and be able to turn each one off or on with no lag. I would recommend the eclipse due to the architecture of the two processors.
