How much does it cost to buy an algorithm? Can you just buy individual presets instead of an entire algorithm?

That's $400 for one effect. Kind of pricey
For one algorithm, some can do several effects at once (ModEchoVerb).

I almost never use 2 effects at the same time so the H9 was an obvious choice for me. I use it mainly for delays and reverbs and I never use them together. Great sounding pedal. My only issue is that the algorithms are a bit expensive to buy.

This sounds promising, just found this out.

Also, if u need/want a 2nd the have the H9 Core. Only comes with a couple algorythyms so u wouldnt want it as your only h9... But... All the algorythyms from your regular H9 can be loaded on the core, yes... Including the stock ones. So with a coupon you can get a 2nd full unit for $320-340.

How do you get a coupon, with original purchase? The algorithms sound really full like there's already a lot going on in them, not sure how much I'd use a second, bu we'll see.

I meant a discount code from one of the online shops... Prymaxe or whatever.

I have the H9 and totally dig it. All the fore mentioned VH and Vai presets are dead on and sound great. The U2 streets have no name preset is the first one I've come across to get the delay right. There is a great EQ algorithm too. Additional cool features are the IPad/iPhone interface, and the H9's ability to be run in front of your amp with its cool distortions. You can have it running in the loop and out front at the same time, (only one at a time mind you). This allows you to switch to Crushstation in front of your amp and the switch back to delays and verbs in your loop. Thought this was pretty cool.
All in all it is a great unit
