Eventide H9 Max Tap Tempo Question

I can’t find an answer to this.
Can you sit the unit on an amp and control which fx are on as well as the tap tempo feature with an external foot controller?
I’m not very fx educated…

Yes, you could do this with a 3-button aux switch or a MIDI controller.
