Ever been completely happy with your setup?

For the first time in a very long time I have no GAS whatsoever. It is a great feeling.

Yeah, I will always want more guitars and if I had tons of money to blow I would get amps galore but I am perfectly happy with my sound right now.

I am in the process of testing pickups but that does not count My amp, my cabs, my pedals and guitar are all perfect. Idk what to do with myself anymore.

yeah that is a given and I have gotten used to the GAS pains so much that it is a normal way of living.

The recent J. Custom thread is making me reconsider all of this

Seriously though, I went through a lot of heartache and buying/selling and everything else for so long it is a great feeling to actually be content with your setup.

I have been super happy with my main rig since I got it 4 years ago. My main guitars,main amp and main speakers are perfect for me.

But damned if I didn't acquire a bunch of cool amps since then. Better than spending it on hookers and blow....both of those would kill me now.

Ok well..MAYBE one day.

TBH I really miss the CL100 I used to have and would like another some day.

Otherwise I honestly can't seeing my gear going up for sale, ever. Everything has a price though.

I don't have super expensive gear but some of it is becoming really hard to find. I am not trying to brag here by any means but I am just saying some of my stuff is not made anymore.

I have a Rev 2 Uber, Mills Acoustics Cabs and an ISP Vector SL. I have seen the prices slightly climb on the Rev 2's so idk. Maybe one day but I love my sound.

For anyone who is actually satisfied with their sound, what are you guys using?

You’ve got me really wanting SD3 from your vids and posts. Hoping I have $$ and find a good holiday deal.

I’d like to be able to get good quality recordings on my own. I don’t have undying GAS for that but it would be nice.

Same. It's been fun over the years trying all those cool amps, but my deliverance and a boost covers everything I do and sounds killer doing it. I did buy a couple Japanese jacksons recently to fill a need for a project I'm working on, and to experiment with pickups and tuners,etc...
Cheap comparatively, and gives me something to focus my gas on. I'm actually relieved to not always be needing something, and putting some time on my technique again.

Yeah man I hear that.

Old and having responsibilities gets in the way. I used to play for hours every single day. Now it is hours every week.

Outside of actual band practice I rarely get to play. Maybe one short session a week trying to come up with riffs and the occasional sit around and noodle for fun.

Overall I'm ecstatic with my setup. I think I'm satisfied completely with my Ibanez and Caparison, can't imagine anything more perfect guitar wise besides pickups. And the Kemper is the end-all-be-all for me, while it's not 100% every amp I'd say it's 95% there with amps. The only real amp I'd like to have is a Mark IIC+, but I know I'll never see one. When I see great deals on guitars or amps I don't really get that gut feeling to jump on it anymore.

I'm trying to get there. I have one guitar amp and one bass amp that I love. Don't see any reason to play a different one. I have one LP and one Superstrat that I love everything about. And two basses that I love.

But for some reason in my head I need backups for the guitars. I have a second LP that is very nice and is probably close enough. But I cannot find another Superstrat that I like as well as my #1. Driving me insane.
