I had a Euro spec 1969 Superbass in original red tolex not a recover with laydown transformer and a Bogner Jose Master installed. Yes it was modded by Reinhold, then I had Mark Cameron install a high and lo gain Jose to it.

I ended up having to sell because of situations and the amount I got for it was nothing to shake a stick it.

Well six years later I got it back yesterday.

Hoping you guys can see the photo, too bad this site does not have anymore space for attachments. Photobucket may let you see the pics or may not. I'm working on it... Hope to have clips soon as well...

Anyways have you guys ever had an amp you regretted selling and ACTUALLY got it BACK?

Damn. Congrats on the return! The only amp I really wish I could get back was the first Cameron modded Marshall I had, it was a 2203x with a modern type mod. Presence had a pull shift, 2 5 ways, resonance, etc. Another RTer has it and he ain't selling.

Yep the Splawn SS in my avatar pic. I sold it locally in 2015 then bought it back last year . Luckily the temp owner kept great care of it and sold it back for what I sold it for

Mailman FJA rectos. Two of them. Twice.

FJA single recto. Got it from mailman, traded it,got it back, swore I wouldn't let it go. Sold it cheap to a buddy who really wanted it.

Years later....

FJA dual recto. Got it from mailman, sat on it for a long time. Mailman asked if I wanted to let it go several times...nope. Finally,he made me a killer offer I couldn't refuse.

Regrets? A little. But I would never play them now. So I am happy they went to my two brothers who wanted them,or wanted them back.

Also lucky I got my langner 50 watt 800 back. That one is actually in my will.

About 3 yrs ago i sold my 2013 Vh4 and regretted it, i played alot of those amps over the years but that one sounded really good. I ended up getting it back a few months ago and couldnt be happier.

Many years ago, I traded my Crate Stealth 50 ( plus cash ) for a new Peavey 5150 head. ( First gen )
( local mom & pop music store )
The next day I took it back, and got my Stealth 50 back.
The 5150 sounded like shit compared to the Stealth.

I also bought a 4x12 cab, which I still have. Love the cab. ( Celestion G12k-85 )

Had 90's Laney GH100L Head, very nice sounding, traded it and some cash to get a JVM 410h, absolutely hated it, few months later I traded back for the Laney. Unfortunately since then I have traded it off to a friend, but when I have the funds I'll be getting it back

Mark V. I owned the head and the combo during a time when I was flipping amps like I flipped burgers in high school. I couldn't get them to sound great, but I was too impatient at the time to learn how to dial in a Boogie.

Bought another Mark V combo recently and now it's my only amp.

This one...had to dump it for $, but I know where it is and dude that has it promised me if he ever sells it he'll hit me first.

That happened three times with me. The first amp I've sold and got back later was a Harry Joyce CST-50 serial # 23. Second amp was a Selmer TV12-T, and the last one is a 70s White Matamp W-100.
Lesson learned. These are no longer going anywhere else.

Ditched a VH4 for an Axe-FX. Sold the AxeFX to buy an Einstein. Sold the Einstein to buy another VH4 and vowed never to make that mistake again.

Bought a house recently and with a daughter & another on the way, felt it was time to say farewell to my VH4. :(
