How do you use the tilt feature? There's nothing in the manual and the only thing it looks like you can do is loosen the 1 screw? I've been loosening it but it's not having any effect on the leg. Anyone?

take out both screws on top of the cab, pull out the latch on your head, it should go into the screw heads from the cab, put the thumb screws back on and tighten them until the head is secured on top of the cab. Now just push the latch on both sides of the cab out to tilt the cab up.

I've got the head part. I'm talking about the tilt legs. They're pressed against the sides of the cab. If I loosen each screw on the legs, it barely moves but is still pressed against the sides and the bottom corner bracket stops it from folding out to tilt.

Ended up using a screwdriver to pry it over the bracket. Thinking that's not what I'm supposed to do and I really don't want to be doing that at shows....

The legs just swing backwards. Pull them back away from the cab from the bottom until the top hits against the stop piece then tilt the cab back.

I understand how it's supposed to work. The legs were pressed against the sides so they don't move at all and you can't grab them to slide. Is that normal?

 That wasn't normal on mine.

I got it working now but I had to keep turning the screws over and over to loosen the leg just a tad....then I used a thin, flat screwdriver to get underneath enough to slide it over the brackets.

Shouldn't be that difficult. I've had 3 of these cabs now and the legs all swung back easily.

That's what I thought too. Maybe I just got a stuck one!

Contacted EVH and they said that shouldn't happen. They wanted me to take it to a service center but there aren't any near me. They're sending me the parts to do it myself. I guess the locking nut on the inside of the cabinet is turning with the screw on the outside.

Does it sound any different after tilting? less bass or anything I have been thinking about doing it.

it's definitely brighter since it's off the floor. I have the casters on too

How does the 50w head sound with 2 of the 212 cabs at once?
I find with tilt it's a bit harsh and was considering adding a 2nd 212 to either stack on 212 and/or in other corner for stereo spread.

Now this is solely for home use. Is it overkill or can you maintain reasonable volumes with 4 speakers vs 2? Does 2 212s stacked sound like a 412?
Thanks for your insight.
