I am a little reluctant to post these since we are just trying to learn these two but I figured, what the hell? These was recorded at my last band rehearsal just to see if the camera I had would capture the audio well. It did, sorta but you be the judge. Sounds decent through the headphones anyway. Oh, and you can ridicule my backing vocals all you want; what was I thinking

As far as the amp goes, obviously it sounds so much better in the room. I had the gain set right between Noon and 1 o'clock on the blue channel and at around 10 o'clock on the red channel for the leads, although I don't think I even kicked it in on these clips. I also had the masters set right before the amp gets HUGE (there is point you go beyond where it really opens up and starts moving some air) since I didn't want to clip the mic. No effects except for the uni-vibe on day of the eagle. The other guitar player was somewhat out gunned as his vintage bassman is in the shop and he was playing through his valve junior, but it hung in there...So on with the old dudes trying to rock out

It's all about having fun out there and jamming!
You guys sound great and picked a great classic metal tune!
Amp sounds great! I can't wait till my matching 2x12 cab comes in!

Well done and enjoy!

I want to pick up a matching 2x12 as well. I'm loving this amp! The most notable thing to me is the amount of sustain you can get that I haven't found or noticed in other amps. For instance, if you strike a power chord and hold it; it doesn't fade. just keeps going. Very cool...

I just grabbed an evh 5150 50w and it is a great little amp. I have mine on top of a evh 4-12 and it can deliver the goods for sure. The new 2-12 evh sounds good but I just couldn't jive with it being so wide and low. Good stuff.
