Hi folks.
I just got some interesting offer from a local store around here for one of those.
They got last two from 2013 inventory for some great price! (Great for us in Israel, not so WOW for the u.s ;) )
I was thinking to self import the stelth but it gonna be a whole lot expensive for my blood (the shipping and taxes are huge!)
So, what I meant to ask, if some one own the 50W and have any thoughts?
How its compare to the stelth (except the 50:100w issue) and any thing you can chime in.
I appreciate you replies !
Thanks!

I own the 50 watt combo, the 50 watt head with 2x12 cabinet, and the 100 watt head with 4 x 12 cabinet. All of them have slightly different voices but are ALL great amps. You can't go wrong with that 50 watt for a great sound in a small package. It's LOUD!

I'm a fan of the 5150 III 50w even though I don't own it. I've nearly purchased it 3 times but I keep spending all my money on other more expensive stuff :( .

It's decently small and easy to move around (without moving into lunchbox territory), is versatile, and sounds great (even at low volumes).

i was expecting a lot more interest in my post :-)
but you guys are cool! Thanks a lot.
i was ordering mine yesterday... I guess I will find out for myself pretty soon ;-)
I was starting to hoarding a bit in the last year or so… and this will be amp no 5!

Each of the 5150 III 50s channels sound KILLER.

You'd be hard pressed to find amps that are the equal of the 50 for its price (well in USA at least) for each of its channels. On their own, I love all 3 of the channels of my ivory darling!

Now the shared controls completely SUCK. You get the KILLER red, and either you KILLER blue and a meh green, or a meh blue and a KILLER green.

No the "fix" settings on the gain/volume and then rolling back your guitar's gain are NOT equal to separately dialing in killer tones on the green and the blue. If it was my main live amp and not just a fooling around amp at my GF's place, I would most likely have gone with the 100 watt to have 3 truly independent channels.

I did that before i posted mine... read most of it... and still :-)

I have the 50 and used to have the 100. To my ears, the 50 watt sounds better on channels 1 and 2 (clean and crunch). On the 100 watt, the lead channel sounds better, the clean is ok and the crunch sucks donkey balls. The EVH cab is good, but a v30 loaded cab sounds much better with a 5153.
