I don't know if it's the amp
Inspiring but you really have his phrasing bends and and use of pinchs harmonics down pat

Thats nice, i wish i had the money and i wish i could play that good lol

Wow.... killer playing!!! Some of the best clips I ever heard on rig talk....that amp sounds awesome!!! And to think last week I was at alto music in ny and walked right by it

OK I gotta ask..how does this compare to some of your rigs?

Cool. How about this...is it more open, less compressed than the BE100? I've played a 2015 BE and found it to be a bit too compressed for my tastes. I'm really thinking a Wizard is the least compressed amp out there...of course they're 4500 lol..

Sounds awesome! You've been practicing or something.......you always played good......but damn!

is this recorded using the Two Notes Torpedo? If so what cab IR?

Try the 2016 BE, it's basically perfect.
I will say that the Takasaki clip really sounded great, very uncompressed.

Alex you are going to cause a phone jam at musicians friend and sweetwater with these clips. LOL

I can smell the Aqua Net from here! :) Great clip. Hope they do a 50-watt version of this in a combo. Would be cool.

Interestingly I think I preferred the Red slightly
What was the gain set at for that first clip like 4??
Also what are you using in the Torpedo for cab sim

Your playing is awesome !!
Your phrasing and bends are sweet !!
Amp sounds killer !!!
I think all the clips you have put out sound killer !!
This one just has some extra fangs or something ?
Thanks for the gas !!!

From the clips that have been presented on this amp in the past, I was not impressed. I am now. Just goes to show that the player who knows how to dial in tone can serve as proper representation. Well done .

Hmmmmmmmm, sounds pretty wicked man. I was shoving this amp aside, again due to too much gain and compression from having had the S 6l6 and not liking it, but you have proved otherwise here.

I am a big fan of the standard 100 watt and i am finding this one very appealing to my ears. I will have to go and check one out.

You're killing me with these clips, might have to pick one of these up

Yeah, the clean channel is nice. When I played the amp before, my initial impression was that the 2nd channel was the best thing about it.

After borrowing the amp on Saturday and spending a bit more time with it, I was definitely liking the clean tones more. As far as the overdriven tones go, I didn't like this EVH amp nearly as much as other amps that I already own. Still a decent amp though, with a lot of different tones available.

I made a short clip of the clean channel with the drive almost all the way up. I figure this might give people an idea of how much gain is available on the clean channel and show a bit of the versatility that this channel has when you roll up the guitar's volume.

Fender Strat straight into amp. Nothing in front or in the fx loop. Sm57 about 4 feet in front of a Bogner 4x12. The recording is about as "in the room" as I could make it sound. (A touch of reverb was added after)

I did a post-breakfast clip of the 5150 with H9 Micropitch

Great tones man, when you set the gain lower like this, does the amp thin out or does it keep all it's fullness but with less gain.? Cause i love the blue on the original. And would hope it can get that tone, can it do that?

Mine has arrived but i cant pick it up until Monday!!!!!!!

Thanks for the clip man.

If you don't mind me asking, what other amps do you own just to get a frame of reference?
