EVH 5K Pot?

I've seen mixed reviews on this pot. Being the it don't have a split shaft that some knobs wont fit it. Does anyone know if a knob like on a Charvel would fit it??

I just bought this pot yesterday for my charvel. I like the low friction pots. However you will have to bore it out (volume knob) just a bit to fit the pot. That is if it's the original Charvel volume knob with the gnarly grip on it.

You mean 500K, right? What use would a 5K pot be in a guitar?

I can give you the exact part number for a split shaft version that will cost you half as much as the EVH pot and is the same low friction pot if you mean $500K...

Yes Steve a 500K pot. What about the same kind of low friction pot w/ a push/pull to split the pups?

It's the same pot but EVH just rebrands it? I'd be interested in that.

Ok, fellers, here you go... Exact same pot as the EVH. Go to mouser.com and order. These are the Mouser part numbers, just search for them and order:

They do not make a push/pull version of this pot. They do make long shaft ones if you need them though...

Why pay $10 for it?
