EVH Fair Warning replica coming,

I've played a few of these guitars. For $1200, a person should be getting a better product. They're decent, but not $1200 decent. $600-700 tops for NEW.

My fave EVH graphic by far.

Only going to pass on it for 2 reasons:

1) The finish is too pristine. Looks cheesy
2) Charvel neck profile? No thanks. Slap a regular Fender neck on there and I can overcome 1)

They're $899 street price and worth just about that when you consider the paintwork.

Me too! I think I'll wait for The Stratosphere or whatever it's called on eBay to start parting them out. I'm only interested in the body and the pick up. Slap a Musikraft or Warmoth neck on there and an original Floyd and then you would have something.

get a warmoth neck, still not a bad deal...can sell the neck I'd bet if saving nickels

The neck will probably only fit that body, like the other striped series guitars.

hmm didn't know that, that sucks

Made in Mexico.

That graphic has nothing to do with Fair Warning ... ?

its became known as the "Unchained" EVH graphic from the live video back in the day.

I think it kicks ass and I don't do EVH strips but I always like this graphic

Dear Shawn,

charveldan has indicated this graphic has nothing to do with Fair Warning. Please make a note of it.

I have a Charvel Custom Shop-great guitar. I also have an EVH bumblebee..made in Mexico. After a set up it is a very good player, sounds fat and I have no problem putting the Charvel down for a song or two and grabbing the EVH. Nice guitar.

I love the the EVH graphic tops. I'll never sound like EVH but I can have a blast trying with that.

Meh... :dunno:

This is really cool, but the couple of EVH sigs that I've played both had seriously crappy fretwork. The edges were sharper than almost any production guitar I've ever felt. The Floyd was also tilting back against the body. Really turned me off to them.

I'm still waiting for the evh star with the dano neck...
