I've found on the EVH Musicman's, the neck width to be a touch too narrow. The neck on the Peavey is asymmetrical and extremely comfortable. The necks on the EVH Wolfgang are more along the Charvel lines. Still comfortable...but a touch less rounder.
Besides that...pickups are different on each, but all sound great with the guitar they are in.
Lastly, the EVH Wolfgang has stainless steel frets and a nicer binding than others. I currently have the EVH Wolfgang and have owned multiple of each.
