Also, from the back of the guitar where you put the string through the block on a Fender tremolo tailpiece, every time I turned the tuning peg I would grab the ball end and turn it with every turn of the tuning peg, alleviating twist tension within the string itself. It worked really well. .."

Cocaine is a helluva drug. Thanks! I still don't see why the string wouldn't just turn the ball end to relieve any 'twist tension'...since the ball end is loose.
I'd say you could build that for about $800 in parts... Also, that guitar is big time expensive for what you get. They priced this thing wrong.
It does but why would you even twist it anyway? The tuner is not twisting it at the other end when pulling on it. I feel like there is some detail that’s missing that would make it all make sense.I am so confused about the twisting the ball end. Does it not go tight against the block? It must. If so, you can’t twist the last couple if the ball is hidden up in the block.
