EVH rolls out the same stories, and maybe even EVH thinks they are true and they are good tales for the fans.
Wayne Charvel showed EVH how to pot pickups.
EVH is stuck with the Jimmy Page tapping story and it's BS but he's just stuck with it and it's one of EVH's stock standard cliched answers.
EVH picked up tapping from Harvey Mandel and EVH doesn't start tapping until 1977 after EVH and George Lynch saw Harvey Mandel (check out the VH boots).
