Extension cable for Tourmaster footswitch

The TM uses a special 8 pin DIN cable. The cable length is just not long enough for certain situations and I'm wondering if there is any place get an extension cable for it.

I think it is 7 pin, not 8.

I don't know about extensions, but you can get longer ones.

It's 8 pins. from page 10 of the manual:

Plug in the Tourmaster footpedal controller using the special supplied 8-pin DiN cable.

Funny. When I asked this same question a few months ago I'm pretty sure I was told 7 pin.

I just looked at the thing. My cable- a 7 pin right angle 25 foot one that I bought- is 7 pin and it works fine.

The footswitch- and the original cable- are 8 pin.

I wonder what the 8th pin does?

My 7 pin one works fine, if that needs to be an option for you at any point.

Anyway, you'll find what you need.

The 8th pin is not used at all. Not sure if it will be someday for future designs but on the runs we are all getting now it is an unused pin.
