I caught up with Extreme in Cincy the other night. Wow what a great show! Met the band and they couldn't have been more gracious and approachable. They were un-rockstar like and that was quite refreshing. Especially Nuno, he was such a great guy. They played about 5 songs for the VIP group and even brought up a 13 yr old girl who showed Nuno her phone playing "Get the Funk Out", so she sat in for Nuno for Get the Funk Out during sound check. She tore it up too! Gary, Pat and Nuno were going crazy with her shredding out. I caught it on video.

The band sounded enormous! I am really hoping they recorded one of these shows from the anniversary onto dvd. They need to distribute this to the masses. They do have an album in the making so hopefully we will see them out on the road again this year. This was the best concert I have ever attended from any band. All-around great experience!

Awesome. I caught them a few weeks ago. Fantastic show. Great stuff

I was looking forward to the show in Baltimore for months. Had the VIP tickets also. I was going to have him sign my '91 Davies N4. Wound up not being able to go and had to give away my tickets because my four year old had to have surgery. I have been watching many clips on YouTube and they have been sounding great! Nuno is amazing, such a talent. He's one of my biggest influences.

On another note, I can't wait to hear the story behind this "4N" guitar he had been using on this tour. He retired his original #1 as he stated in an interview because people have tried to walk away with it on multiple occasions. This "4N" appears to also be a '91 Davies. What's peculiar is it has his signature on the back of the headstock from 1999. He must have bought it from a fan.

That's a bummer you couldn't go. I'm hoping for round two this year.

It's funny that you mention the 4N because I noticed his signature on the guitar head stock as well. He played that guitar the entire show. No carbon fiber nor his original in sight.

Very cool! Many congrats! Great pics and it looks like a great show! I hope they come up here as I would love to see them live!

Awesome! Gotta see if they're coming anywhere near me....

Nuno should be using his old ADA rig for this

Using the ADA would be cool.
I agree, though his tone has been great with the Marshall.

What Marshall is that??

Nuno (and Extreme) rules! Such a great player - still rocks!

He's been using a DSL this tour. Used a JCM900 on a few overseas dates last year.

So are the Marshall heads behind the curtain? All I see are those nutty Randall heads and cabs.
