F70 vs F70G

Steve said in one of his videos that they are different and the G is slightly warmer..
They were way different in this video. The difference is possibly a slightly different mic position or brand new F70 vs broken in F70G..
I've had a pair of F70's for quite a while now. They are plenty broken in and sound like the G in this video.. They are worm and round and not scratchy at all..

Same for me. Mine sound nothing like those in the video.

I will say this, I've had the F70 on the channel several times, both in 8 and 16 Ohm. The 16 Ohm one I had prior to this one had been broken in professionally. That one may have been a bit smoother but nowhere near the F70G.
I had my contacts at Fane confirm that the F70G is a different speaker. It's not just a different label.
