Hey, I have a question. I use a renegade head in home when I play it bothers me a fan humming in it. Do you have a patent on it off? such a switch. Only if then you do not lose the guarantee on the amp?

I assume the warranty would not cover the amp if you turn the fan off. But you need to contact Nate to find that out for sure.

It is my understanding that these amps will still work just fine without the fan, but it was put there so the tubes would stay cooler and last longer. I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong. Having said that, my Renegade 212 barely gets warm (as compared to other amps I've had that get really hot).

Don't do anything until you get an official answer though.

Thanks man!

I thinking about replace fan with new generation silent work.

Interesting...

a) I can't even heard the fan in my Renegade unlike others do. So it's not an issue.
However...
b) my Renegade gets really hot when I practice of gig. No issues, but it does get hot.

On the gig or either on exercises with the team can not hear the fan, but when the framework evening quietly at home is, unfortunately, the noise is quite large.

the power wires to my fan were hitting the fan blades in my renrgade. took care of it the fan is great now. check it?
