I am so tired of hearing about Fortin Amps. It's basically early Krank/Billy Blades at this point. If people like them, use them. But hiring that engage dude and letting him run around forums insulting people and lying really shows a bad business acumen. There are so many amazing sounding amps out these days to even consider dealing with that goofy shit.

The one user posted all their messages back and forth. He explained the issue, ended up showing a video. Fortin said that the issue was normal and that 25% plus pay your own shipping was their policy.

I didn't keep up with the thread but some are saying they did end up issuing full refund. Some others defended fortin and said the user was rude in his initial email and whatever else idk.

But either way, to my knowledge they were trying to stick the buyer until Facebook got ahold of the situation. If all that is accurate than imo the only reason Fortin did the refund was to save face.

I've had issues with them in the past, mostly with zach and the way they handle things. Was kind of against Fortin but then I was for real ready to buy the EP because the videos were nuts but between the Larry thread itself, them trying to ignore my questions about the EP delays and now this, pffft. Im glad the EP didn't come out because im over it and dont even want it. No amp sounds that good to me, not worth the hassle.

Imagine spending $3k, having a qc issue, paying $100 to ship the amp back and then Fortin charging you $750 for their "inconvenience"?. Fuck all that.
