I don't get it? Last I heard, the vaccine is beautiful.

I have not said anything but me and the family are all infected. Luckily we are on the tail end of it.I'm vaccinated with the pfizer and have had a booster. I also have m.s. and have an immunosuppressant every 28 days. and a stage IV thyroid cancer survivor. My health team was adamant about me getting the vaccine. My wife and everyone else was not vaccinated. I have had worse colds than what this has done to me. Had a sore throat for a week and then it moved to my chest. Occasional cough and occasional fever. Wife had fevers of 103 and severe-severe-SEVERE body pains in her joints. Stated she had never hurt so bad in her life...and she's a bone cancer survivor. Youngest son-you could not tell he was sick. He's 14 and a beast. Oldest son and daughter in law...26&22, basically cold symptoms and no issues. Both are in excellent shape though. Grandchildren..3 and 1....no problems. My wife said she will be getting the jab now....it affected her that much, and she's a warrior. We got the IV antibody treatment monday and within 24 hours my wife was muchmuchmuch better...it also helped me as well I think. So-does the vaccine keep you from getting it?FUCK NO. Does the vaccine help mitigate the symptoms? imo FUCK YEAH. On the flip side-I have had two coworkers get the jab and have had mini strokes. Healthy guys who work out every day. Within 30 minutes of getting the jab. So I dunno. Do you is really all I can say. I would recomend it though just based on my experience. I think it should be called a treatment and not a vaccine. False advertising fo sho....

My sister got COVID post vaccination. She got the monoclonal antibody treatment, and was better is a couple of days.

Congrats on your stage IV thyroid recovery. I had to go in for a biopsy on my thyroid next week, and I'm sort of not wanting to go through with it.

Man, the amount of disinformation, hyperbole, lack of facts, innuendo, projection, anecdotal pondering, disdain for scientific evidence and findings, and lack of objectivity, not to mention bullsh*t, from this group of posters is truly outstanding. Kudos, folks!

Hey, Donnie! What's been going up and down in the rainbow kingdom? You missed your lobotomy appointment, obviously.

My wife’s friend has MS and is fully vaccinated and with a booster and she has zero antibodies for Covid due to the drugs she takes. Note she is a doctor herself (her husband is too).

Regarding your wife, she won’t likely need the vaccine. She has natural immunity now. If she wants to get a vaccine, she could likely wait until late next year. Who knows, by that time there could be more information known for her to make a more educated decision.

Congrats on kicking cancers ass. ?

If you are between the age 40-59 (no comorbidity), your estimated chance of dying is 2.65%. Between 60 and 79... 5.15%. Why would you even attempt to vaccinate against a virus with this level of survivability? These are typical flu season numbers, are they not?

Looking at the statistical numbers. What seems to be missing is what advantage does the vaccine provide? Meaning, If some age group reads that you have a 99.50% survival rate, what percentage change happens when getting vaccinated? For a totally arbitrary example… does it now go to 99.55%, meaning you gained a .05% from the vaccine ?

Sure thing, Donnie.

Just like the mandate 100 employees and over but what if your company has 97 employees they wll be safe? Total bullshit thinking by a total bullshit admin. Fuck you xiden

This misconception crops up time and again when medicos speak of an x% gain in recovery.

If the average chance of recovery from something is 10% and you have a 50%-better chance of surviving brought about by a drug, you've moved from 10% to 15%.

Those big figures pale into relative insignificance when considered in the context of the baseline figures one starts with.
