I really feel bad for people who lost their jobs, because they were conned by liars who told them that the vaccines were deadly poison that would kill them. In the end it's their fault though, they were weak minded enough to fall for that BS.

I'm gonna reply with a saying that's probably a bit harsh because you reply in good faith. But (and I don't like to reveal too much personal info just because) I'm a bit 'tuned up' because today is my birthday and we had a wonderful dinner and a bottle of very nice wine while I smoked a wonderful cigar in our backyard. So I've got a buzz on.

Nah, I'm not gonna go that route. What I'll say is wearing a mask was a very small inconvenience to bear. Yet some viewed it as if they were being asked to donate a kidney. Their reaction was totally out of proportion. I'm sorry they lost jobs/friends/family but they made that choice to stand on misplaced principle over a small 'ask'.

Is this the hill you want to die on? Some said "yes".

The snotty reply I was first thinking of posting (because now I've mentioned it I can't not say) was "if you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough".
 
Funny enough, the antivaxxers have zero statistics on this supposed massive wave of vaccine deaths that supposedly occurred after taking the poison cLoT sHoT!!!

Von (and I may be a bit maudlin here thanks to "in vino veritas") even though we disagree on just about everything outside of good blues music, I think in your heart you're a good man.

EDIT: I'm signing off for the evening to plug in my vintage Tele into a real Tweed and play a couple boozy blues licks because I'm feeling VERY fine tonight.

Thanks, that sounds nice but the bible says the heart is deceitful above all things. We often look at others and think "so and so is a great guy" but the reality is those are our standards rather than the Lords. By the standard of Christ we are spiritually sick inside.

The masks didn't bother me all that much tbh. The biggest annoyance was that my glasses would sometimes fog up.

The VA facility I go to wouldn't let you in unless you had a mask and you had to go through a checkpoint at the entrance which was only a minor inconvenience. My dr's would ask me if I wanted the vaccine at every appointment but I declined every time.

All the d-bag musicians would virtue signal with them, take them off, put them on, twirl them, make sure they were seen with that bs. You went to a bar and "you can take off your mask when seated". All the rules made zero sense so why would I comply with something that retarded? Answer: I wouldn't so I didn't.

What I did do was take some hershey's syrup to an old pair of hanes. On the elastic band I took a sharpie and wrote "EPSTAIN" and then kept them under the seat of my truck that way if anyone gave me shit about not having a mask I could say "got one in the truck, I'll be RIGHT back" and then they'd be forced to look at that. Hey, it was a cloth face covering. :LOL:

Nah, execution. He effectively destroyed the health and well being of many and got rich doing it. Why should he get to live out his golden years in the comfort of a federal facility with three hots and a cot? Firing squad or just a good rope. Safe and effective. :yes:
