Here ya go.. still learning how to use the new Imovie 09 program, but you get the idea... would have loved to include a PT 100 head in the mix, but mine are on a boat in the middle of the atlantic ocean right now, on their way back from tour.

All the amps are running into my Bogner 1-12" with a Scumback M75 65 watt speaker.. mic'd with a Heil PR30 and a Shure 57, into an API mic pre and A2D converter.

As you can hear, the Phantom is quite transparent and really works as advertised.

Only the first amp seems to loose some balls as soon as the attenuator is switched in. Some others seem to change a bit in the mids to my ears. Very nice overall though !

That has to be maybe the best demo of an attenuator that I have seen. The recording quality and the method of comparison adjusting for volume and using various amps and playing the same riffs each time could not be better. Good work on that and thanks.
The Faustine itself came across as really holding its own at bedroom levels I thought. You could tell a tad difference but compared to the THDs that I have this is really fantastic. I would go out and get a couple right now but... the down side is the price. They are about what 700+ USD? they seem like great attenuators for closet players like me but a bit on the high side for price. Thanks again for that demo. Great video Pete!!

It was nice to really be able to hear the differences at different settings. Out of all those amps I think killer blend would be the Komet and the Marsha. Seems like the two of those together would cover a crap load of tonal bliss at the same time.
 
Great video Pete. I have heard these things many times at Tone Merchants. They really are all that.

I know from other " can you pick the clip" it is very hard to pick out what is going on, at least for me.

I just got the Marsha- it's smokin. Gotta spend some time rocking with it over the next few days
