Gonna go dbl cream pups on one of my Charvel Promods. Whats your fave neck pup, must be dbl cream so probably a Dimarzio. Whats your fave? Play hair metal, some cleam, a touch of modern but no super down tuned stuff.

PAF, Evolution, etc?

Dimarzio super 2 is one of my favourites. Not really "clean" but does a really nice "break up" type clean and is great for shredding leads, roll back the tone a bit and you get that creamy slash type tone .... and it comes in double cream

I concur.

I needed a neck bucker in one of builds for myself and i found a Super 2 in a box in my shop. I'm not generally a Dimarzio fan, but i slapped it in there anyway and could not be happier

I like Dimarzio's PAF variants. They have a nice "chime" without being bright.

Or try it the Dimebag-Style. Use the SD 59 Bridge in the Neck position

I'm into lower output stuff. For DiMarzio give the 36th anniversary a shot. For Duncan try Antiquities.

For a Charvel, assuming alder or basswood a PAF should work out fine. I always duh super distortion and a PAF Pro in the neck on strats

Dimarzio Bluesbucker. By a lot!! That thing is what I always imagined my neck pickup sounding like.

I was looking at this one. I havent owned a bluesbucker bu the description sounds awesome. I have a few Charvels that are S/H, maybe this one with a push/pull on the vol knob to split the Bluesbucker might be exactly what I need.

What else can u tell us about it. Do you have it on a splitter as well?

Duncan 59 or DiMarzio Air Norton!! I also have been digging the MCP T Wreck Neck in LP style guitars.
