Depends on guitar....
Ibby: Air Zone
Charvel USA: Tone Zone
Alder Strat: JB
Les Paul: 57

To date, not that I swap a lot of pickups, but it's the Duncan Black Winter. Something about it cuts like a knife but is articulate.

I love the PRS DGT and Suhr DSV for all around use. I also dig and use the Tremonti Treble (which is the same pickup as the SC250 Treble, btw).

Tremonti Treble
Hot pickup but cutting, articulate, woody and is good for every genre not only metal.
It really is.

Surprising for such a high output pickup. It's my favorite hot pickup ever.

That's one I'd really like to try out.

I've got a Prs SC250 in everything I own. I bounced from dang near every duncan to Dimarzio, and anything else you can think of looking for "my" tone... thats what I feel in love with.. how ever, I don't think it would fair well in a super strat... plus they're not the cheapest pickup on earth.

EVH Frankie pup. Covers blues, rock, to heavy. I can get VH, to Chevelle, to AIC, ZAKK, it just depends on the distance and guage of the strings.

I really want to try one of those! Do you have any experience with the JB?
If so how would they compare?
