Pretty well any Tool... Just love the tone as it's ethereal and weird, cutting and edgy all at the same time. Triad is just a good long belt-out of wicked tone:

LOVE the tone in this tune from Breaking Benjamin:

Smashing Pumkins, totally, anything off their first killer CD Siamese Dream:

Godsmack, Vampires.... How could you NOT like this tone?!?!?!:

I've got about 1000 songs which blow me away tonally...
Mo

PS: edited because I forget to format the vids.

Tool - Lateralus
Mastodon - Crack the Skye and Hunter

I went back and forth on this so much and had to delete my original post...I almost have to break it down into eras.

modern-ish- Adam Jones on Undertow
less modern-Metallica's Kill 'em All
vintage- there's a lot of stuff I like, but Faces-era Ron Wood always slays me.

Bleed the freak, sunshine and pretty much all of Facelift.

2 that I love lead tones on:

2 that I think are epic:

But best of all time I could never say. One day I might say say something by the Sex Pistols, one day Molly Hatchet, one day Dokken or Tesla or Marvin Gaye. Tone must fit the music and the music must fit what I'm feeling that day ;)

i did recorded my gf and I once doing the nasty - might be my all time fav recording :D

I was so close to putting Facelift over Undertow.
I pussed out though.
Sorry.
I love Jerry's lead tone on Bleed the Freak. That whole record pretty much kicks major a-hole.

At the moment Welcome to Sky Valley, especially Whitewater from that album.
