Of the pickups I've played, I'd say the Dimarzio Injector.

Mention also goes to the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound.

I'm sure there are other great ones that I have not played.

Fave single coil sized pickup? Rio Grande Muy Grande, though I'd love to test an Injector.

David Allen VooDoo Blues or SD Custom Shop Scatter-Wound SSL-1C DG

Dimarzio Billy Corgan signature

Never heard of the BC-2. Sounds good, though. Is it noiseless? I usually don't care for DiMarzio.

The DiMarzio Injector became my personal favorite stacked bridge single. Neck version isn't bad either.

Dimarzio Chopper. Great pickup and if you listen to Richie Kotzen you can get an idea of how it sounds.

Bill and Becky Lawrence (Wilde Pickups) L298SL.

I've heard great things about these. I wish there were more clips of them. They're supposed to be much cheaper to produce and every bit as good as the high dollar stuff. Do you have this pickup?

yes, with an L200SN in the neck of a custom tele style guitar. Fabulous combination. The neck has nice vintage sparkle without any hum and the bridge screams with high gain. Did I mention no hum? Took about three weeks to receive them, but well worth the wait.

Big fan of the Seymour Duncan JB jr and hot rails, especially when you wire in a push pull pot to switch between series and parallel of the two coils. Since I did that with my hot rails, I run it more in parallel than in series.

A for a single coil, the suhr fletch landau beat I have is nice, the bridge is pretty good. My favorite single coils bridge was a fender cobalt noiseless, but the bridge was too hot for the rest of the set, IMO.

I'd love to hear a clip if you could do one...They sounded very dynamic in the one video I saw and I'm ideally looking for a no hum solution.

Area Solo for the win...still sounds like a great single with more girth and body plus quiet too.

You mean Virtual Solo?

I have a Lollar Special S in a Strat that sounds great. No ice pic, but definitely still a Strat.
