The White H.S is bitchin'.

Your story is why I'm reluctant to send my amp back to CA for updated mods. Granted, I pack for the apocalypse; more so concerned with theft.
 
Yeah apparently packing was on me, but all in all having the white shell and the simple clean is so good it was worth the headache.
I've got a 3 way bright switch on clean and it really gives many options

Not true in my experience. Always pay the fee and check off the box for sig required. Several times I have had $3-4k of guitar or engine parts sitting on my porch all day and half the night. The post office will just chuck it over my 6 ft. high fence onto the concrete in my backyard. :doh:
Yeah what your imagining has happened :doh:

Solid box, bubble wrap the shit out of what ever your shipping, then pad it some more. double box if possible. I used to work for a fed ex contractor.
