It's really good. I have a question for my American friends: is it a particular regional quirk to say "whenever" instead of "when" which would be the usual use?
For example: "Whenever AI eliminates hundreds of millions of jobs etc..."

I try not to think about AI: it's results will be devastating for so many people, it is unstoppable because an enormous amount of wealth is pushing it and those who possess that wealth have no conscience and zero sympathy for those whose lives are ruined. Head in the sand? Yes, because there is nothing else, absolutely nothing else people like me can do about it. Once again, I'm so glad to be retired....but still the possibility it will creep into my life somehow.

My point still stands 'though. I mean think about it:
If you were about to die and some asshole you never liked or agreed with offered you a guaranteed opportunity to live another 50 years and all you had to do was listen to one sentence containing the info you needed, would you sacrifice living that 50 years in order to satisfy your prejudice?

Another observation:
When Jesus sprang onto the scene back in the day, many a peep chose to ignore him altogether because, "Nothing good could possibly come out of Bethlehem".

We see this phenomenon everywhere today but that doesn't make it logically-sound.
