Ditching the black headstock is definitely a good move.

My remaining gripe is that I wish Fender would use taller frets.
 
Wish Fender would get rid of that double screw humbucker height screw setup. Not everyone is a fan of there pickups and swapping out humbuckers requires a new pickguard. That is unless you don't mind 2 extra holes on top.
