Just announced in time for NAMM a 1968 Tribute black Ritchie Blackmore Strat. Looks beautiful, wish it had the desirable graduated scallops, but maybe the guitar that is being paid tribute to was not scalloped, those attending NAMM can find out.
I like it as a 'Hendrix' Tribute Strat!!!

Interesting, strange they would do a Blackmore guitar with no scallops-I guess you can pay someone else to do it....at least they ditched that ridiculous strap lock system they had on the last one. Love that 1/4" bar.
 
exactly...any strat with big headstock, scallop , and quarter pounders will get you in the zone just as well. Hell, just get a malmsteen strat.

Thar guitar doesn't represent anything Ritchie used anymore than the last MIM Blackmore Strat. That trem bar is hidious. I guess that's the selling point.
 
I'm a Strat guy and that thing does nothing for me.

I've watched Blackmore for years and that guitar doesn't look like anything I've seen him play. Strange.

Great neck, good big not sharp! frets, action and fit and finish were actually spot on... had the OG plastic still on the guard, FROM 06! :loco: musta been a Xmas present...

swappin the pickups for my own reasons... but the stockers are fine... already relicing up by playin the shit out of it! :rock:
