Fender experts…help me identify this Tele

Hey All.

One of my neighbor kids was recently gifted this Tele. Says it is made in Japan, so I would guess it is a decent guitar, but I know next to nothing about Tele’s.

It has some scratchy pots and needs a good setup, but I am hoping someone can tell me what he has.

Yeah, thats a sweet guitar.
Nice flame in the neck, and looks like flame veneer on the body too.
I think they call these 3 pickup tele's Nashville tele's, but not sure. The reversed control plate screems "Nashville" to me lol!
And I think the neck and middle pu's are strat type pu's.
Lucky kid to get that as a gift. Thats pretty cool

Forgot to add: just about everything Fender "Made in Japan " is extremely high quality and sought after.
Hell, I've seen Squire MIJ stuff from the 80's and early 90's go for over $1k.

Does it have the Hamburgler on the back of the neck? Mine did.
