Just placed an order last night. Anyone have any good/bad experiences?

I couldn’t find an off the shelf Tele with the specs I wanted…..so I built one.

I considered a Mod Shop Jaguar, but the options were too limited compared to Strats and Teles. I wanted an original '60s spec electronics, with all the switches which they didn't offer; only the modern switching which I don't want.

They did offer a maple board which I wanted,; and the color choices are great too.


Here's what I spec'd out, notice the modern switching. They also stopped offering the vintage pickups.

I wanted these in particular:

Deep “C” neck with rosewood board
Modern, shallow bridge plate

For aesthetics, I went transparent blonde with black pickguard. Vintage tuners and 51’ pups.

I do like that bridge. The rest seems fairly obtainable.

I bet you could build it yourself - and save enough money for another guitar too.
