Fender Stratocaster neck question

Whats the difference between a 9,5 radius neck 59 D profile. My reference is a 1957 9,5 radius soft V or the Malmsteen Strat neck which i think is a modern C. Modern C is perfect. 57 soft V is almost a little bit too thick. Will the 59 D profile be more like the 57 soft V or thinner/ thicker?
