I've come across one on my local Craigslist. Can anyone tell me anything about the amp?

I've been able to find some info here. http://www.ampwares.com/amp.asp?id=102 But does anyone know if it's a PCB board or a Tag board?

How does it compare to say the newer Fender amps made today?

The guy is asking $600 for the amp. I'm thinking about swapping my Marshall DSL50 head for it. Just for some more Fender flavor around the house.

I have always wanted one of these! This is from the earlier line it think as later they added tube tremolo and half power switch also. They were good build quality but they were pcb board. These were when fender amps were still made in USA and I prefer these to the newer made in mexico. I think fender discontinued these models and has the super sonic line and hot rod series instead. These were loud amps for especially for their power rating. I take it u dig black Flag??

ooh hey bro i worked on one of these they are a royal pain in the ass to service, they sound ok but for 600 i'd say no its a re-issue so it definitly lacks the characteristics that an older fender has,the newer fenders are actually alittle better less pc and closer to blackface specs(sorta) ,save your money (or amp) save up and buy a blackface from a collector, way better investment, way better sound
