What does this sound like in comparison to the very impressive Pro Sonic?

very similar to the prosonic,

i think they fender moved to this after working with zinky to produce the prosonic

the prosonic v this, the super sonic is a more easily controllable 2 channel or master volume type amp, while the prosonic can hurt your neighbors if you're not careful

but they have very similar sounds with the cascading gain controls, i can't remember some of the prosonic things beyond the switchable rectifier that the super sonic doesn't have, i guess the rectifier and the supposed using an amp in the incorrect ohm would create a different tone,

let me know if that helps you

It does, was just curious if this was also a high gain sleeper.

ummm yeah it has that higher gain, not maybe a metal tone? but definitely higher gain than most fender amps, i should plug it in for a demo, but there's got to be better ones than i'm capable of making, high gain, yes, the clean tone is also very very impressive, the simple 3 knob and bright switch or switch and shift is very impressive as well,

so it's inline with the prosonic, and the cornford mk50 and the mk50 type amps, like the jet city amelia (haven't had direct experience with this) or the port city anzu which i also don't have experience with, but the mk 50 i do, in both the white face and black face versions

I've played both the Prosonic and Amelia and in my opinion they can certainly do high gain metal. Bet this one can too, going to try to find some clips online this looks interesting.
