Fender Texas Specials in a Strat vs in a Tele? Do they sound different?

It's Friday it's Fender and it's American! A little late for the 4th - but I was curious: Since I have an American Special Telecaster and Stratocaster AND they both have Texas Special Pickups in them, would the neck and bridge pickups sound the same? How much do body shape and bridge configuration have to do with the sound. One set is a little hotter - will it just be louder or will it have a different voice?
So that's the goal - let's find out if these Texas Specials sound different in each guitar!
