You said "I tell you what" in your previous messsge that I quoted, let's hear it.

I already told you what! It's an expression. I told you that you totally schooled me by showing me that ratty, screechy sounding Randy Rhoads tone.

He was a killer player, but his studio tones were... notoriously bad. It's all a matter of taste though, fine. If you love it that's great! I'm just saying I don't think you're going to get a lot of buy in around here by making a blanket statement like "of course modeling is going to be about the same as tubes if you're going for a shitty metal tone" and then pointing to a "real" tone like whatever Randy Rhoads put to tape.

Yeah if you record a shitty modern metal sound I wouldn't, but try to get a fully cranked sound out of your plugins a la Randy Rhoads or Jake E Lee and tell me if my stance is still ridiculous. ?

Oh…. Ok. You wanna bet on that one?

Sure, let's hear a cranked tone out of a plugin or a modeler!

Well some fags have a bad taste then I guess. Bet you're gonna say that Mastodon or some other Soy-tier band has a great guitar tone then right? :jerkit:

Oh no no no…. That’s not what you said homie. You said you could tell the DIFFERENCE between the plugin and the real amp. Not “ post a cranked clip on a modeler”…. You aren’t getting out of this that easy.

Stop moving goal posts and post the clips dunce.

it sounds pretty good, demo'ed it the other day. I A/B'ed it with my real one dialed to the same settings and something seems off, I think it has more gain than the real one, a bit fuzzier. Still cool though!

Had MP-1’s on two different occasions…once back in the day and another to revisit a few years ago. Neat unit back in the day but sounded like shit. Well the clean tones are good for country stuff I will say.
