Jerry put in a Built in Gain Boost on the Recto. No need for the pedal boost. But I do have a Timmy clone that I used for years. Just not needed with this amp. Yeah the Trickery of the BBE....
Anyhow I am glad to have snagged that EQ pedal. I am running it damn near flat line....with "MINOR" tweaks....thats all that was needed. Reigns Supreme! As Steve K puts.....INSTANT WOOD!!

Well I will never know....out of money and happy with this one.
Really like the modded Recto tone.
Its so cutting and powerful tone. Have to hear it in person to really get the "feel" of this amp.
But its one helluva amp. FJA knocked this one out the park.

We played last weekend with just the amp no EQ....sounds great....but I love the presence the EQ brings to it.
Really happy with this set up.

Yeah....it sounded pretty decent with some amps. But dont touch what the Graphic EQ sounds like.
I know some guys were telling me about this years ago....but I was hypnotized by the BBE....
