I watched the second vid where he finally plays and he gets a very good VH tone for 1/10 the cost of others that I have seen or heard.

He did ok but with guys like Rockstah, Curt Mitchell, Pete Thorn, etc... why bother. He got an ok tone but it was kinda buzzy and brittle.

It does say "For beginners," which is why it is so drawn out. I think in his second one, he gets a pretty good sound when the phaser is on. He has the lead channel gain down too. I agree to the fact he should just try the delay in the loop. But like he says...it works for him.
